JINJIANG, China, Dec. 9 (Xinhua) -- Kyle Fogg scored a game-high 40 points to lead the visiting Beijing Royal Fighters clinch a comeback victory over Fujian Sturgeons in the 15th round of the Chinese Basketball Association here on Monday.

"My players didn't give up until the last minute. We played as a team and displayed our resilience on the court," said Beijing's coach Stephon Marbury, whose team once trailed behind 92-83 in the final quarter.

The home team opened fire beyond the arc in the opening quarter with three consecutive 3-pointers to take the lead 27-22 and then extended the advantage to 49-37 in the middle of the second quarter, before Fogg helped the capital team cut the deficit 53-46 into the half break.

In the first minute of the second half, Amar'e Stoudemire was sent off the court due to his second unsportsmanlike foul. Fujian still got a two-point advantage 81-79 by the end of the third quarter.

The Sturgeons geared up in the fourth quarter to lead in 10-plus points with six minutes remaining, only to see Fogg boosted a 22-8 spurt for Beijing in clutch time to seal the away game victory 105-100.

The visitors had six players scoring double figures including a double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds from Jason Thompson and 10 points and six assists from former Chinese international Sun Yue. Fogg made 17 free throws out of 20 attempts.

Lawson contributed 29 points and 11 assists for the home team, while Wang Zhelin scored 25 points and grabbed 11 rebounds.
