BEIJING, Dec. 15 (Xinhua) -- "Only Cloud Knows," a Chinese romance film based on a true story, is set to hit the big screen in China Friday, Dec. 20, according to the China Film Distribution and Exhibition Association.
The storyline revolves around a Chinese widower who returns to New Zealand after the death of his wife where he discovers that she harbored a number of secrets.
Directed by Feng Xiaogang, "Only Cloud Knows" stars Huang Xuan and Yang Caiyu, who reunited after their appearance in the 2017 film "Youth."
"Youth," also a film by Feng, debuted on the Chinese mainland in December 2017 and grossed a total box office revenue of more than 1.4 billion yuan (around 202 million U.S. dollars), according to the China Movie Data Information Network.
