Belarus GDP grows 1.1 pct in Jan-Nov

MINSK, Dec. 16 (Xinhua) -- The gross domestic product (GDP) of Belarus grew 1.1 percent year on year in January-November 2019 to about 120.1 billion rubles (57.2 billion U.S. dollars), the country's National Statistics Committee said Monday.

In the first 11 months, the GDP deflator index equaled 106.5 percent as against the same period a year prior.

The authorities predict economic growth of about 4 percent in 2019. In 2018, the country's GDP grew by 3 percent.
