BEIJING, Jan. 10 (Xinhua) -- The Ministry of Education on Friday called for strengthened physical training and aesthetic-related courses to improve student's health and artistic qualities.
Education departments should have regular communication with sports authorities to promote physical training education for adolescents, said Education Minister Chen Baosheng.
Chen required the education authority to supervise and evaluate aesthetic education at schools and consider including art subjects into the highschool entrance examination.
He also called for strengthened labor education for students to cultivate their hard-working spirits.
