SANTIAGO, Jan. 10 (Xinhua) -- Argentinian forward Nicolas Blandi arrived in the Chilean capital Santiago on Friday ahead of his expected transfer to local giants Colo Colo.
The 29-year-old, who has six months left on his contract with Argentina's San Lorenzo, was greeted at Santiago's international airport by Colo-Colo's sporting director Marcelo Espina.
According to local media reports, Colo Colo have agreed to pay San Lorenzo 1.1 million US dollars to secure Blandi on a two-year contract. The deal is subject to a routine medical examination.
Blandi began his career with Boca Juniors in 2010 before his 2014 move to San Lorenzo, where he scored 55 times in 135 league matches.
Colo-Colo have also signed forward Matias Fernandez, midfielders Cesar Fuentes and Leo Valencia and goalkeeper Miguel Pinto over the past month.
