KHARTOUM, Jan. 14 (Xinhua) -- The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Anwar Gargash on Tuesday urged the Arab countries and international community to support Sudan during the transitional period.
"We are looking forward to supporting Sudan" in many priority fields, especially the economic field, the visiting UAE official told reporters following his meeting with Sudan's Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok.
"There are many challenges, but we are confident that with the will of the Sudanese and the support of the brothers and the international community," Sudan will overcome the difficulties, he added.
Gargash arrived in Khartoum on Monday for a two-day official visit.
