Acclaimed Chinese author publishes anthology collecting works over 70 years

BEIJING, Jan. 16 (Xinhua) -- An anthology of major works from the acclaimed Chinese writer Wang Meng's from 1948 to 2018, has been published by the People's Literature Publishing House.

Comprised of 50 volumes, the book chronicles the journey of his artistic creation including his novels, poems, speeches and memoirs.

Wang Meng won the national honorary title of "the people's artist" ahead of the National Day which fell on Oct. 1 in 2019. He was the only writer to win the title.
