KAMPALA, Jan. 16 (Xinhua) -- Uganda will host the 2020 FIFA Under-20 Women's World Cup qualifier between South Sudan and Algeria, a senior sports official said here on Thursday.
Humphrey Mandu, deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Federation of Uganda Football Associations, told Xinhua in an interview that at the request of South Sudan, Uganda accepted to host the match scheduled for Jan. 19.
"South Sudan still has its national stadium under reconstruction in Juba and has no stadium to host international matches," said Mandu.
The 2020 FIFA U20 Women's World Cup will be hosted by Coast Rica and Panama.
