JAKARTA, Jan. 17 (Xinhua) -- Chinese shuttlers Wang Yilyu/Huang Dongping will vie against France's Delphine Delrue/Thom Gicquel in the semifinals of the 2020 Indonesia Masters mixed doubles event on Saturday.
Wang and Huang managed to reach the last four after beating Britain's pair Chris Adcock/Gabrielle Adcock in the quarterfinal on Friday in about an hour 14-21, 21-18, 21-15.
Meanwhile, France's Delphine Delrue/Thom Gicquel beat Indonesia's top shuttlers Melati Daeva Oktaviani/Praveen Jordan in an hour and three minutes 21-19, 14-21, 21-18 to set up the semi clash against Wang/Huang.
The Indonesia Masters 2020 is taking place from January 14 to 19 at the Istora Senayan sports stadium in the country's capital of Jakarta.
The total prize money for the event is 400,000 U.S. dollars, which is up about 14 percent from that of the same event in 2019.
