5.3 magnitude quake hits Maria Antonia, Puerto Rico: USGS

NEW YORK, Jan. 25 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 jolted 8 km southeast of Maria Antonia, Puerto Rico at 20:20:36 GMT on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 5.0 km, was initially determined to be at 17.914 degrees north latitude and 66.841 degrees west longitude.
