6.5-magnitude quake hits 53km SE of East End, Cayman Islands: USGS

NEW YORK, Jan. 28 (Xinhua) -- A 6.5-magnitude earthquake jolted 53km SE of East End, Cayman Islands at 21:55:14 GMT on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 18.923 degrees north latitude and 80.803 degrees west longitude.
