LUANDA, Feb. 14 (Xinhua) -- At least four people were killed and eleven others were seriously injured after a taxi car and a mini truck collided early on Friday in Angola's central west Benguela Province.
The mini-truck was trying to overtake a car in its direction being left with no margin for maneuver ending up in a head-on collision with the taxi, causing the immediate death of both drivers, while some passengers of the taxi were strapped in it seriously injured.
Local Firefighters took three hours to remove the victims strapped in the taxi, after that they were sent to Benguela's General Hospital.
A provincial road traffic official Antonio Ngussi said speeding and non-compliance with the highway code caused the collision.
