BAKU, Feb. 17 (Xinhua) -- Chinese gymnasts delivered an outstanding performance to dominate the podium in both men's and women's events at the 2020 FIG World Cup in Trampoline Gymnastics and Tumbling here on Sunday.
Gao Lei, an Olympic bronze medal winner, emerged victorious in the men's trampoline individual event with a total score of 61.585 points. Dong Dong, the winner of the 2012 London Olympics, bagged the bronze with 60.260 points.
In the women's individual event, Zhu Xueying claimed the top of the podium with 55.810 points. She was followed by teammate Liu Lingling who scored 54.945 points. Xueying also received Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation Trophy traditionally awarded to top scorers of the tournament in both men's and women's divisions.
The two-day FIG World Cup features nearly 150 gymnasts from 30 countries. It is a qualifying event for the Tokyo Olympic Games.
