THE HAGUE, Feb. 16 (Xinhua) -- Winning the women's 500m and 3,000m relay, the Netherlands claimed two golds in front of the home crowd at the ISU Short Track Speed Skating World Cup in Dordrecht on Sunday.

The women's 500m final saw a fierce competition between five skaters and restarted three times.

"That's something that eats you," said Lara van Ruijven of the Netherlands. "It's difficult, but I thought everyone had this problem. I tried not to think about it too much."

She finished first with a time of 42.907 seconds, with her teammate Yara van Kerkhof ranking second and Poland's Kamila Stormowska taking the bronze.

"It was complete chaos during the final. A lot happened with falls and things like that," said Van Kerkhof. "But after all, I'm super happy with this result. It's great to get one-two and to celebrate together."

The gold of the women's 3,000m relay also went to the Netherlands as they crossed the line first in four minutes and 10.255 seconds in the final, followed by Canada and South Korea.

Canada took gold in the men's 5,000m relay. The Netherlands came second and China ranked third.

The other three golds were collected by South Korea. Kim Ji-yoo finished first with 1:32.552 in the women's 1000m, ahead of China's Han Yutong and Sofia Prosvirnova from Russia.

19-year-old Lee June-seo clinched his first World Cup gold in the men's 500m, with Belgium's Stijn Desmet taking the silver and Abzal Azhgaliyev from Kazakhstan winning the bronze.

Park Ji-won claimed the men's 1,000m title, bringing home two individual golds as he won the men's 1,000m on Saturday.

China got one gold, two silvers and two bronzes at Dordrecht World Cup, while South Korea bagged six golds and the Netherlands took three golds.
