An inspector tests the leakproofness of a protective mask sample at a laboratory of Shaanxi Institute of Medical Device Quality Supervision and Inspection in Xi'an, capital of northwest China's Shaanxi Province, Feb. 16, 2020. After the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, Shaanxi Institute of Medical Device Quality Supervision and Inspection took on the responsibility of testing the qualities of protective materials like face masks, protective suits, isolation gowns, etc. to ensure the safety of medical personnel and the residents.
