EIB to finance 10 projects in Ukraine in 2020

KIEV, Feb. 22 (Xinhua) -- The European Investment Bank is negotiating with Ukrainian partners to finance 10 public sector projects in the country in 2020, Interfax Ukraine reported on Friday.

EIB officials said they are discussing projects related to the Boryspil Airport, the M14 Mariupol-Kherson highway, road safety, Ukraine's national post and construction work at the Tashlykskaya hydroelectric plant.

The EIB has financed projects worth 540 million euros (585.5 million U.S. dollars) in Ukraine last year. In addition, it launched a project worth 400 million euros at the end of last year to provide long-term financing for small and medium agricultural enterprises in Ukraine.
