WINDHOEK, March 3 (Xinhua) -- The 10th Namibian Annual Music Awards ceremony will take place on May 2 in the coastal town of Swakopmund.
The announcement was made during a press conference which took place in Windhoek on Tuesday.
The sponsor MTC's chief human capital and corporate affairs officer, Tim Ekandjo, said the nominees' announcement will take place on March 27 at the National Theater of Namibia in Windhoek.
At the event, Ekandjo also announced that MTC will be releasing all the intellectual property it has on the brand while Namibia Broadcasting Corporation will continue to invest in local music.
Last year, MTC announced that after 10 years of making a concrete contribution to the event, the 2020 awards will be their last edition to be a sponsor. MTC is the largest mobile operator in Namibia.
