MACAO, March 18 (Xinhua) -- The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Center of China's Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) government on Wednesday reported two newly confirmed imported COVID-19 cases, bringing the number of imported cases to five in March.
A 42-year-old woman from Indonesia, who was a relative of a non-resident worker, arrived in Hong Kong by air from Jakarta of Indonesia. She then arrived in Macao on Tuesday through the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and was found to have fever by Macao's medical personals up on entering Macao.
The other patient, a 31-year-old man, was a non-resident worker from the Philippines. He arrived in Macao via Hong Kong through the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge on Monday and went to Kiang Wu Hospital on Tuesday, complaining of toothache, fever and a rash.
Both patients were then tested positive with the COVID-19 and were quarantined and treated in Macao's hospital of Centro Hospitalar Conde de Sao Januario.
