MUSCAT, March 28 (Xinhua) -- The Omani Ministry of Health announced Saturday 21 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 152.
All the new cases are Oman citizens, eight of whom are related to travels, eight related to contact with previous cases, and the five others still under epidemiological investigation, the ministry said in a statement.
The statement added that so far 23 patients have recovered.
Meanwhile, the ministry called on everyone to observe the quarantine procedures, avoid going to public places and ensure personal hygiene.
