5.0-magnitude quake hits off New Zealand -- USGS

BEIJING, April 7 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted 145 km west of l'Esperance Rock, New Zealand around 23:30 (1130 GMT) on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
