BEIJING, April 10 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese mainland reported 38 new imported cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) Thursday, bringing the total number of imported cases to 1,141, the National Health Commission said Friday.
The mainland also reported 3 new suspected cases Thursday, all imported, the commission said in its daily report.
Of the total imported cases, 408 had been discharged from hospitals after recovery, and 733 were being treated in hospitals with 34 in severe condition, the commission said.
No death had been reported from the imported cases.
