BEIJING, April 19 (Xinhua) -- Huaxia Bank, a mid-sized Chinese lender, reported steady profit growth last year.
The bank raked in 21.91 billion yuan (about 3 billion U.S. dollars) in net profits attributable to shareholders, edging up 5.04 percent year on year, according to the company's report filed with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
During the same period, its revenue totaled 84.73 billion yuan, increasing by 17.32 percent from the previous year.
The bank's total assets grow 12.69 percent to 3.02 trillion yuan at the end of last year.
According to the report, its non-performing loan ratio stood at 1.83 percent, down 0.02 percentage points from a year ago.
Meanwhile, its outstanding loan for small and micro-sized enterprises reached 100.14 billion yuan by end-2019, up 18.27 percent year on year, the bank said. Enditem
