PARIS, April 28 (Xinhua) -- French shares edged up on Tuesday, with the benchmark Paris CAC 40 up 1.43 percent, or 64.54 points, to close at 4569.79 points.
Multinational corporation Capgemini advanced 7.87 percent. French international financial group BNP Paribas rose 6.51 percent and French multinational defense company Safran added 6.44 percent.
French multinational food-products corporation Danone lost 2.68 percent. France-based 3D product design company Dassault Systemes shed 2.62 percent, while Worldline SA, a France-based company providing payment and transaction services, went down by 1.88 percent. Enditem
