Iran thanks Oman for providing medical aid against COVID-19

MUSCAT, May 11 (Xinhua) -- The Embassy of Iran in Muscat issued a statement to express thanks to Oman for its help during the COVID-19 pandemic, including medical aid.

Mohammad Reza Nouri Shahroudi, the Iranian ambassador, expressed thanks to Oman for its humanitarian stance in sending two shipments of medical and medicinal aid to Iran and facilitating the travel of the Iranians, as well as its cooperation to evacuate Bahraini nationals who were stuck in Iran, according to an official statement issued by the Iranian Embassy in Muscat.

Although Oman is facing the spread of COVID-19, it sent medical and health aid to the concerned Iranian authorities, the ambassador said.

He added that the relations between his country and Oman are undergoing good conditions. Enditem
