FRANKFURT, May 12 (Xinhua) -- German stocks edged down on Tuesday, with the benchmark DAX index down 5.49 points, or 0.05 percent, to close at 10,819.50 points.
Global internet technology and financial services provider Wirecard lost 5.03 percent, the top loser among the blue chips, followed by insurance and financial services company Allianz and airlines Lufthansa, which lost 3.21 percent and 1.49 percent respectively.
Energy group E.ON gained 3.38 percent, the top gainer. Deutsche Post and Deutsche Bank advanced 2.99 percent and 2.22 percent respectively.
Allianz was the most traded share, with a turnover of 419.4 million euros (455.4 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
