FRANKFURT, May 14 (Xinhua) -- German shares lost on Thursday, with the benchmark DAX index down 205.64 points, or 1.95 percent, to close at 10,337.02 points.
Deutsche Post lost the most among the blue chips, down by 3.74 percent, followed by energy group E.ON and automotive manufacturer Daimler, which lost 3.55 percent and 3.51 percent respectively.
German airlines Lufthansa, telecommunications company Deutsche Telekom and chemical and consumer goods company Henkel were the top three winners, rising 2.42 percent, 1.33 percent and 0.79 percent respectively.
German insurance and financial services company Allianz was the most traded share of the day, with a turnover of 429.2 million euros (463.2 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
