KUWAIT CITY, May 18 (Xinhua) -- The Arab Media Forum will hold on Tuesday a virtual seminar in Kuwait to discuss the impact of novel coronavirus and its challenges, Madhi Al-Khamis, general secretary of the forum, said Monday.
The seminar, entitled the "international variable impact of coronavirus and beyond," will attract experts, media representatives and politicians from Kuwait, Morocco, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, and the United Arab Emirates, Al-Khamis said in a statement.
Holding such a seminar at this time comes from the forum's responsibility towards society to highlight the most important issues of the spread of the coronavirus at the Arab media and political level, he said.
"While people are trying to understand the nature of this virus and how and when it will disappear, we will go further by trying to create a vision of what the world will look like politically after the current crisis," the official added.
The rapid spread of the coronavirus led to a rapid transfer of the balance of global forces, while some countries managed to control the crisis quickly and others slowed in containing it, Al-Khamis noted, adding that the seminar will focus on the top political challenges amid the crisis. Enditem
