RIYADH, May 18 (Xinhua) -- Saudi Agricultural Development Fund approved on Monday loans worth more than 333 million Saudi riyals (88.8 million U.S. dollars).
The loans aim to support the agricultural activities of the private sector affected by the coronavirus outbreaks, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The loans would finance 12 projects in different parts of the kingdom. They include operational loans and the required financing to import food products from abroad.
Meanwhile, the Health Ministry announced on Monday that the total confirmed cases rise to 57,345 with the registration of 2,593 new infections.
Eight deaths reported, bringing the total number of fatalities to 320.
Saudi Arabia also registered 3,026 new recoveries, increasing the total recovered cases to 28,748. Enditem
