Zimbabwe's COVID-19 cases rise to 51

HARARE, May 21 (Xinhua) -- Zimbabwe reported three new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, bringing the nationwide tally to 51.

Two of the new patients, who have been linked to travel to Botswana, tested positive for the virus on the eighth day of quarantine, while the other one is a Harare resident with no history of foreign travel, the Ministry of Health and Child Care said in a statement.

To date, a total of 18 recoveries and four deaths have been reported in the country.

Zimbabwe has so far conducted 34,707 tests for COVID-19. Enditem
