BEIJING, June 2 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese Communist Youth League (CCYL) Central Committee has helped more than 86,000 college students find jobs through its online employment service, launched in February.

A total of 361 online job fairs have been hosted via the service which was designed to facilitate the employment of university and college graduates amid the COVID-19 epidemic, according to the CCYL Central Committee.

Altogether five online job fairs have been hosted especially for graduates from Hubei Province, previously severely affected by COVID-19, with around 58,000 graduates participating online.

In order to help unemployed young people from Hubei who were infected with the novel coronavirus, the CCYL Central Committee provided 1,424 of these young people with nearly 5.7 million yuan (about 800,000 U.S. dollars) of subsidies.

The CCYL also offered employment guidance courses on live streaming platforms. Enditem
