BEIJING, June 3 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.8 jolted 48 km South-southwest of San Pedro de Atacama, Chile at 0735 GMT on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 96.84 km, was initially determined to be at 23.2955 degrees south latitude and 68.4217 degrees west longitude. Enditem
