RABAT, June 5 (Xinhua) -- The passenger flow in Moroccan airports reached 4,910,594 during the first quarter of 2020, down 12.6 percent year on year, the Moroccan Airports Authority said Friday in a statement.
The drop in traffic is meanly due to the suspension of all national and international flights since March 15 amid COVID-19 spread in the country, the statement added.
This unprecedented crisis has impacted all Moroccan airports' activities, causing sharp decline in revenues, it added. Enditem
