BANGKOK, June 17 (Xinhua) -- Thailand's Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) on Wednesday told the media that it has instructed all schools to stagger class and lunch hours to prevent crowding as schools are set to reopen on July 1 after being closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Seat arrangements in classrooms and canteens must comply with the one-meter physical distancing rule. Table shields must be installed and body temperature checkpoints will be set up at school entrances.

Each school is required to register with the government-sponsored COVID-19 tracing platform for all school visitors to check in and check out. Kitchens and canteens must be cleaned with detergent and disinfected. Enditem
