TIANJIN, June 24 (Xinhua) -- The fourth World Intelligence Congress, a major artificial-intelligence event in China, closed Wednesday in north China's Tianjin Municipality, with 148 projects inked online.
Jin Xiangjun, vice mayor of Tianjin, said 131 domestic projects with a total investment of 80.9 billion yuan (about 11.4 billion U.S. dollars) and 17 overseas projects with a total investment of 1.6 billion U.S. dollars were inked online in the two-day event.
The projects cover the fields of new infrastructure, high-tech services, new energy and new materials, and high-end equipment manufacturing.
Themed "Intelligent New Era: Innovation, Energization and Ecology," the online event attracted over 1 million visitors online. A series of online activities, including forums, exhibitions and competitions, were presented during the event. Enditem
