TOKYO, June 30 (Xinhua) -- Tokyo stocks advanced Tuesday morning, as the market mood was buoyed by economic data from the United States and China that beat median market expectations and helped ease concerns about a global economic recovery from the pandemic.

The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, meanwhile, gained 18.68 points, or 1.21 percent, at 1,567.90.
