WELLINGTON, July 2 (Xinhua) -- New Zealand reported two new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday in managed isolation and quarantine facilities, according to the country's Ministry of Health.

There continue to be no new cases in the community, a ministry statement said.

The number of active cases in New Zealand stood at 18 on Thursday. All are in managed isolation or quarantine facilities, it said.

The total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 reached 1,180, which was the number reported to the World Health Organization, according to the ministry.
