Vietnam records no new COVID-19 cases, 340 patients cured

HANOI, July 2 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam reported no new cases of COVID-19 infection on Thursday, with its total confirmed cases remaining at 355 with zero deaths so far, according to its Ministry of Health.

Four more COVID-19 patients were given all-clear Thursday, bringing the total cured case in the country to 340, Vietnam News Agency cited the ministry as reporting, noting that they will be quarantined for another 14 days.

Vietnam has recorded no local transmission for 77 straight days while there are nearly 13,100 people being quarantined and monitored in the country, according to the report. Enditem
