BEIRUT, July 3 (Xinhua) -- Iraqi Oil Minister Ihsan Abdul Jabbar agreed on Friday with Lebanese Prime Minister Hassan Diab that Iraq will import industrial and agricultural products from Lebanon, local media reported.

"Lebanese food industries are very popular in Iraq which can constitute a good opportunity for Lebanon to increase its production and export it," Jabbar was quoted as saying by Elnashra, an online independent newspaper.

Jabbar's remarks came during his meeting with Diab at the Grand Serail in Beirut.

Jabbar noted that Iraq wants agricultural companies to restart their operations in Iraq.

He added that Lebanon and Iraq have agreed to exchange expertise in education sector by allowing Iraqis to enroll in Lebanese universities.

Jabbar noted that Iraq will in return export its oil to Lebanon. Enditem
