MINSK, July 3 (Xinhua) -- Belarus reported 299 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, taking its total to 62,997, according to the country's health ministry.
In the past day, 1,171 new recoveries were reported, bringing the total number of recoveries to 49,909, the ministry added.
So far, 412 people have died of the disease in the country, including seven new deaths over the past 24 hours, it said.
As of Friday, nearly 1,044,000 tests for the virus have been conducted across the country, according to official figures. Enditem
