NANNING, July 3 (Xinhua) -- South China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region will set aside 973 million yuan (about 137.7 million U.S. dollars) of employment subsidies this year amid efforts to stabilize employment, according to the region's financial department.

Of the total, 850 million yuan will go to fields including vocational training and skill appraisal work, social insurance, public welfare jobs, and entrepreneur programs.

Meanwhile, 47.5 million yuan will be used to train high-skilled talents, and 35 million yuan will be spent on offering rewards to areas that are outstanding in improving employment.

Guangxi will also allocate 20 million yuan to a public training base at the China-Malaysia Qinzhou Industrial Park to serve as equipment purchasing funds. This is for the two sides to continue strengthening their exchanges and cooperation on talent training and industry convergence. Enditem
