ISLAMABAD, July 3 (Xinhua) -- The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is the guarantee to a prosperous future of Pakistan and all segments of the society will benefit from it, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Friday.
Chairing a meeting attended by senior ministers and chairman of CPEC authority to review progresses of CPEC projects, the prime minister called the initiative the "best project for the socio-economic development of Pakistan," the Prime Minister Office said in a statement here.
He also reiterated the resolve to complete the "manifestation of Pak-China friendship and give its benefits to every Pakistani."
The prime minister also praised the progress of CPEC Authority he formed last year to ensure speedy completion of the CPEC projects across the country and directed to further enhance its efficiency.
The prime minister was briefed about the progress and status of the ongoing projects under the bilateral initiative. Enditem
