ULAN BATOR, July 4 (Xinhua) -- Mongolia reported four more COVID-19 recoveries, bringing the total recoveries to 183, the country's National Center for Communicable Diseases (NCCD) said Saturday.
Meanwhile, it has tested 557 people for the virus in the last 24 hours, including 67 Mongolian citizens and transport drivers who have returned home from China via the Zamiin-Uud border point, and the results were all negative, Dulmaa Nyamkhuu, head of the NCCD, said at a daily press conference.
The Asian country has tallied 220 COVID-19 cases, and it has not reported any local transmissions or deaths so far.
In addition, the country has registered no cases of COVID-19 infection imported from China.
Mongolia and China have recently agreed to allow engineers and technicians involved in bilateral trade, logistics and construction projects and other people who are required to travel between the two countries to cross border crossings in order to continue bilateral cooperation amid the pandemic, according to the Mongolian Foreign Ministry.
