Vietnam records no new COVID-19 cases

HANOI, July 5 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam reported no new cases of COVID-19 infection on Sunday, with its total confirmed cases remaining at 355 with zero deaths so far, according to the Ministry of Health.

As many as 340 patients in the country have totally recovered from the disease, the ministry said.

Vietnam has recorded no local transmission for 80 straight days, while there are nearly 11,500 people being quarantined and monitored in the country, according to a report by Vietnam News Agency. Enditem
