JINAN, July 6 (Xinhua) -- Top-tier Chinese football club Shandong Luneng is expecting to gather all their overseas players soon for the upcoming 2020 Chinese Super League (CSL) campaign in late July.

Former Italian international Graziano Pelle will join the team soon, as he is busy booking a flight to China with a valid visa, a Luneng club official told Xinhua on Monday. Meanwhile, Brazilian striker Roger Guedes is also trying to book a flight to China.

Three overseas players have been named in Luneng's squad. Former Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini has joined the team after COVID-19 treatment in April. The other two are Moises Lima and the new signing Leonardo Rodrigues Pereira.

Hungarian Tamas Kadar has arrived in China and is receiving a 14-day quarantine in the southeastern city of Xiamen in Fujian province.

Kadar joined Luneng in February from Ukrainian side Dynamo Kiev. He will wear the No. 4 jersey for Luneng.

The CSL 2020 campaign will kick off on July 25. Dalian in northeastern China's Liaoning province and the eastern Chinese city of Suzhou in Jiangsu province have been selected to host the campaign with 16 contesting teams split into two groups to play in a tournament-style competition. Enditem
