BEIRUT, July 7 (Xinhua) -- Lebanon's number of COVID-19 infections increased on Tuesday by 22 cases to 1,907 while the death toll remained at 36, the National News Agency reported.
A day earlier, Health Minister Hamad Hassan said only 0.3 percent of the Lebanese population have been confirmed to be infected with COVID-19 since the outbreak in the country.
Lebanon has been fighting against COVID-19 since Feb. 21.
The country has received several donations from different countries for its fight against the novel coronavirus.
The latest foreign support was from China last month, which offered 17,500 masks, 1,500 protective suits, 1,320 goggles and 1,000 shoe covers to Lebanese public hospitals. Enditem
