LUSAKA, July 8 (Xinhua) -- Zambia's anti-corruption agency on Wednesday arrested three officers from the country's revenue collection agency and one clearing agent for corruption involving abuse of authority of office.
The officers and the clearing agent have also been arrested for corrupt practices and fraudulent false accounting.
Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Corporate Affairs Officer Jonathan Siame said the four were arrested for receiving bribes in order to generate false automated system for customs data receipts for various companies.
The suspects have since been released on bond and are due to appear in court soon. Enditem
