MINSK, July 8 (Xinhua) -- Belarus reported 221 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, taking its total to 64,224, according to the country's health ministry.
There were 952 new recoveries in the past 24 hours, taking the total to 52,854, the ministry added.
So far, 443 people have died of the disease in the country, including seven over the past 24 hours, it said.
As of Wednesday, over 1,087,000 tests for the virus have been conducted across the country, according to official data. Enditem
