QINGDAO, China, July 9 (Xinhua) -- Wu Qian scored a game-high 26 points in 35 minutes to help the Zhejiang Lions beat the Sichuan Blue Whales 107-74 for a three-game winning streak in the 2019-20 Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) season.
Cheng Shuaipeng made a driving layup and took command at the beginning of the first quarter, helping Zhejiang build a 22-16 lead before the second quarter.
Zhejiang then played a number of excellent counterattacks and extended their lead to double digits, controlling the game at their own pace.
Five players scored double digits, with Wang Yibo scoring 17 points, and Cheng Shuaipeng and Liu Zeyi both scoring 16 points.
For Sichuan, Yuan Tangwen and Yuan Zhenliang both scored 17 points, while Zuo Zhennian added 12 points.
