BEIJING, July 9 (Xinhua) -- China will make all-out efforts in flood control and disaster relief work while advancing the construction of major water conservancy projects, according to an executive meeting of the State Council Wednesday.
The meeting, presided over by Premier Li Keqiang, stressed that people's lives are the top priority and decided to increase material and fund support to help local authorities relocate disaster-hit residents, repair damaged projects and restore production as parts of the country have been severely affected by floods.
