MADRID, July 9 (Xinhua) -- Share prices in Spain fell on Thursday for the third consecutive day, with the benchmark Ibex-35 index losing 1.22 percent to close at 7,236.90 points.
Totally 31 of the 35 blue chips lost in the session with just three companies seeing their share prices increase and one remaining unchanged.
Technology provider for the travel sector, Amadeus IT Group, had Thursday's worst results with shares down 4.21 percent. Melia Hotels International lost 3.56 percent and shares of steel producer ArcelorMittal dropped 3.31 percent.
Clean energy producer Siemens Gamesa saw shares rise 3.95 percent, while mobile phone operator Cellnex Telecom was up 0.11 percent and cellulose and collagen manufacturer Viscofan climbed 0.09 percent. Enditem
